NJIT women’s cross country athlete Maryam Haque from Edison, NJ has been selected as Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the NJIT Classic Saturday at Branch Brook Park.

The senior co-captain was the top finisher for the NJIT women, clocking in with a time of 20:20.05. Haque finished first against Saint Peter’s and finished sixth overall.

The Highlanders came out on top against the Peacock’s with a score of 24-33.
