New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

Wilnir Louis joined NJIT’s Department of Athletics as the Fan Engagement and Marketing Manager in September 2024.

Louis came to University Heights after serving in an array of roles involving digital media, marketing, production and promotions. He most recently served as the Social Media Manager for Linden High School, where he pioneered the school’s Instagram account for their football program and adopted digital media initiatives which drove ticket sales up by 30 percent. During that time, Louis also assumed roles at SiriusXM and Audacy.

A dual graduate of Seton Hall University, Louis earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management and Sports Media in 2021. He completed his master’s in communication with a focus on digital communication in 2023, publishing his research on athlete-driven podcasts.

While at Seton Hall, Louis served as a Marketing and Promotions Assistant, aiding the marketing arm of the athletic department in executing gameday promotions and marketing strategies for various athletic teams. He also served as the Station Manager and Sports Director of the prestigious student-run radio station, 89.5 FM WSOU, was named as a producer on Pirate TV, and aided live broadcasts for the Pirate Sports Network.
