Matthew Manzella joined the NJIT Athletics staff in November 2025 after serving as the Ballpark Operations Intern for the Somerset Patriots.
During his time with the Patriots, Manzella was responsible for providing support in daily operational management, assisting the Operations Manager with facility projects, and supervising event staff for home games.
Prior to his role with the Somerset Patriots, Manzella was an Arena Operations Intern for the New York Red Bulls and a Facilities Operations Intern with MetLife Stadium. In both roles, he coordinated for upcoming events and assisted in set up and breakdown for daily activities.
Manzella also served as Event and Game Day Operations Intern for the New York Jets.
Manzella graduated from Kean University in December 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
