Prior to NJIT: Played her high school volleyball at Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa... Named Central Iowa Metro League First Team All-Conference... Earned CIML All-Academic and Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Academic Awards while at Valley... Led her team to three Iowa state tournament appearances over her four years... Also played two years of varsity tennis and a year of synchronized swimming at Valley... Played club volleyball for Iowa Powerplex U17, landing on the Prep Dig All-Iowa Top 250 list.
