Andrew McGlynn joined the NJIT men's basketball staff after working as a Video Coordinator at La Salle University in 2014-15.
McGlynn entered college coaching as a graduate assistant for the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball program, managing video operations and assisting with opponent scouting. In 2013, Detroit Mercy clinched an NIT berth, McGlynn's first season on staff.
He was head student manager for the Towson men's basketball program for four seasons and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's in Sport Management and received his MBA in Business Administration from Detroit Mercy in 2014.
Beginning in June 2011, when he was an intern, McGlynn worked for The Hoop Group, the largest basketball instruction organization in the world.
"We are extremely excited to have Andrew join our staff, said head coach Jim Engles of his new DBO. " He brings a wealth of experience from working on the staffs of Detroit and La Salle. He is a true professional in every sense of the word and will definitely help us elevate our program as we make the jump to the Atlantic Sun Conference."
