2018-19: Earned ASUN Doubles Pair of the Year honors with partner Joleta Budiman...Matson and Budiman combined to produce a 13-3 overall doubles record and a 2-1 ASUN mark in completed matches...went 8-2 in their last ten contests during the regular season....went 16-7 overall in doubles and 7-9 (2-5 ASUN) in singles, including a 5-0 mark at No. 4 singles.

Prior to NJIT: Holly Matson, from Taupo, New Zealand, attended St. Andrew's College from 2013-17.  She captured the New Zealand secondary school mixed team champions in 2015-17.  Matson won Canterbury Junior u18 singles champion in 2017 and represented Canterbury u16 in 2016.
