Danielle Viola, who played four years of tennis at Seton Hall University from 2005-06 to 2008-09, joined the coaching staff at NJIT as a graduate assistant starting in 2010-11.
 
She was team captain her last two seasons at Seton Hall and compiled a singles record of 30-15 in her four years playing with the Big East program. A dean’s list student, she was a Big East Academic All-Star.
 
Prior to college, Viola was a star at Niagara Catholic Jr./Sr. High School in Niagara Falls, NY, where she was team captain all four years and helped lead the team to three straight league championships in boys tennis. She was the 2005 Channel 7 News Athlete of the Year.
 
In non-school tennis, she was ranked #7 in the USTA Eastern Section Girls 16U division and later was ranked #9 in the comparable 18U division. She participated in the Super Nationals, Easter Bowl, Eddie Herr and Zonals, and trained at the Bolletieri Academy and the Chris Evert Academy.
 
Since February 2010, Danielle has been a tennis professional at Centercourt Athletic Club of Chatham, NJ.
 
She resides in South Orange, NJ.
