LeeAnn Choy joined the NJIT men’s and women’s fencing coaching staff in September 2024 as an Assistant Coach.
Choy, a three-year member of the Columbia University women’s fencing team, earned her Bachelor of Economics in May 2021.
An All-Northeast Region second-team honoree (2019-20), Choy combined for a 83-42 dual match record and 11-8 in Ivy League Round Robin epee bouts.
Choy reached top 16 on the Cadet and Junior US Fencing Points Standing and top 32 on the Senior US Fencing Points Standing.
A 2017 graduate of Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, NJ, Choi won three consecutive New Jersey State Individual Women’s Epee Titles as a sophomore, junior and senior. She went undefeated at the 2017 State Individual Championship to capture the title.
A three-time NJ.com Girls Fencer of the Year, Choy finished with an overall record of 85-15 in high school including a 22-2 tally during senior season.
Choy was part of the first place epee championship team at the New Jersey State Squads Tournament in both 2014 and 2015 while earning second place in team championships during her senior season.
She is an Assistant Coach at Wanglei International Fencing Club in Livingston, NJ.
