Prior to NJIT: Four-year starter at Freehold High School, led her senior team to its first NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III Sectional Championship in a double overtime victory over Neptune High School.  Spahn made the two biggest free throws of her high school career, hitting the game-winner in the final 10 seconds against Neptune.  She also helped guide the Colonials to a 23-6 mark and Central Jersey Group III crown in 2012-13. ...An All-B North Division first-team and All-Shore third-team honoree in her senior season, Spahn averaged 13.3ppg, 8.2rpg and 3.5apg while closing out her Colonial career scoring 1,046 points.
