Sandra Brendle, who joined the NJIT staff as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2009, earned her bachelor's degree, majoring in athletic training, from Greensboro (NC) College in 2007.
She earned her master's in athletic training at Old Dominion University in May 2009. At ODU, she worked with seven teams and was on the medial staff for the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament first and second rounds.
At Greensboro, she was 2006 Athletic Training Student of the Year and worked on the 2004 NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Soccer championship tournament medical staff.
