Prior to NJIT: A second-team All-American, two-time first-team All-Bay league and Division I All-CIF, Heins attended Mira Costa High School and guided the volleyball team to numerous accolades: National Champions (2025), D1 State Champions (2025), D1 Regional Champions (2025), D1 CIF Champions (2025), Eric Fonoimoana Award (2025), D1 CIF SS Runner Up (2024). ... Rockstar of the Year (2025) and SoCal Cup All-Tournament team (2023-25).
