Biography

2019-20: Competed in eight meets (outdoor season cancelled due to COVID-19 public health crisis)...earned two third place finishes in his first three meets - Mile (4:23.76) at the Fastrack Season Opener (Dec. 6) and 4x400 (3:24.71) at the Spartan Invite (Jan. 10)...helped DMR team finish fifth (10:41.70) at the ASUN Indoor Championships (Feb. 28).

2018-19: Competed in 14 meets...earned six first place event finishes during the season: 800 meters (1:56.25) and 4x400 (3:25.90) at the Fordham Season Opener (Dec. 7); 500 meters (1:05.70) at the Spartan Invitational (Jan. 11); 4x400 (3:19.17) at the NYC Gotham Cup (Jan. 18); 1000 meters (2:28.04) at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships (Jan. 31); and 800 meters (1:52.78) at the Metropolitan Outdoor Championships...the 800 meter time at Met Outdoors set a new college PR...took bronze in the 800 (1:53.60) at the ASUN Outdoor Championships (May 10).

2017-18: Appeared in 11 meets for the Highlanders. … at the METS Outdoor Championships placed second in the 4x400 relay for a new NJIT school record 3:20.26, and notched another new record in the 1500 meter run finishing in under four minutes, 3:57.79. … took first at the FDU Patch Invitational in the men’s 600 meter run clocking in with a time of 1:25.20.

2016-17: Competed in 13 meets for the Highlanders as a freshman. … notched his first collegiate win at the FDU Patch Invitational placing first in the 1000 meter run. … at the METS Indoor Championships ran the 1000m in 2:35.43 breaking the school record as a freshman, and then helped the 4x800 relay team break another record finishing in 8:00.03. … captured the 800 meter title at the All-American Invite setting a new NJIT freshman record by finishing in 1:57.08. … at the Tom Farrell Track & Field Classic placed fourth in the 400 meter run coming in with the fifth fastest NJIT time and the second fastest time as a freshman in 50.39. ... named NJIT Male Co-Athlete of the Week on 4/24.
