Biography
Prior to NJIT: Spencer Swanholm joined the program as a transfer from Wagner College after competing during the 2025-26 season. At Wagner: Swanholm made his collegiate debut at the Iona–Sacred Heart tri-meet, swimming the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard butterfly. He earned a third-place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle at the Southern Connecticut–CCSU tri-meet and also competed in the 400-yard individual medley at the Harold Anderson Invitational. High School: Prior to Wagner, Swanholm trained with the South Jersey Aquatic Club, where he competed at the Middle Atlantic Senior Championship. He posted personal-best times of 9:50.94 in the 1,000-yard freestyle and 16:37.62 in the 1,650-yard freestyle.
