Biography

2020-21: Did not compete this season.

2019-20: Competed in nine meets...finished third in three events across three meets: 200 Medley Relay vs Providence (1:52.57), 200 Free Relay vs UMass (1:32.58), and 1000 Free vs Howard (10:09.67).

2018-19: Participated in nine meets for the Highlanders...finished second in the 200 Free Relay (1:30.12) against Binghamton on Nov. 17...placed fifth in the 800 Free Relay at CCSAs.

2017-18: The freshman competed in all 11 meets for the Highlanders, including qualifying for the ECAC Championships. … in his first meet as a Highlander vs Binghamton, part of the third place 200 free relay.

Coach Lawson on Haefner: "Jake a is stand-out from Missouri, ranked in the top 40 over-all in the state and specializing in sprint freestyle.  Jake will join our impressive group of sprinters, looking to fill the big shoes left by last year’s graduating senior, Michael Sungarov.  Jake has a great spirit and enthusiasm and it is clear he is excited about becoming a Highlander."
