2016-17: Compiled a promising freshman season competing in all 10 meets. … in first collegiate meet, finished first place in the 200 free and the 400 free medley and second in the 200 IM. … recorded three first place finished in the meet against Manhattan/St. Francis Brooklyn in the 200 free, 100 free and 200 free relay. … helped the Highlanders to their second consecutive ECAC Winter Championship win, swimming in seven events and earning first in the 800 free relay and the 400 free relay and third in the 400 medley relay. … swam a season-best in the 1000 free at Monmouth with a time of 10:49.90 good for first place. … at the CCSA Championships swam in five events, making the finals in the 200 free and the 500 free with season-best times of 1:43.93 and 4:48.86 respectively.

Prior to NJIT: The second Canadian to join the Highlanders in 2016 comes from the West and Vancouver, British Columbia. Pak, too, is a former Canadian Provincial record holder in the 100 backstroke.
