2014-15: Member of NJIT men's swimming & diving team.

2013-14: In his freshman season had 15 1st place finishes. ... set six school records (two individual and four relay) in the 50 backstroke (26.34), the 100 backstroke (55.25), 200 free relay (1:25.27), 400 free relay (3:10.84), 400 medley relay (3:32.59), and the 800 free relay. ... swam a season-best 1:46.47 in the 200 yard freestyle, placing 2nd against Montclair State. ...swam a season-best 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:02.96, placing 1st against Loyola. ...swam two season-best times at the CCSA's, first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:38.81 placing 15th overall and then in the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 16.27.27 placing 11th.

Prior to NJIT: Four-year letter winners and senior captain from Egg Harbor Township High SchoolHails where he has swam competitively for both Egg Harbor Township High School (Coach Mark Jameison) and Egg Harbor Township Seahawks (Coach Brian Elko). ...swimming accomplishments include: top 5 Finisher in the 500 Freestyle at the 2013 NJSIAA Meet of Champions, top 10 Finisher in the 200 Freestyle at the 2013 NJSIAA Meet of Champions, top 12 Finisher in the 500 Freestyle at the 2012 NJSIAA Meet of Champions, 2012-13 All Conference 1st Team 400 Meter Freestyle, 2013 All South Jersey 1st Team 200 Yard Freestyle, 2013 Atlantic City Press Swimmer of the Year.

Personal: Anthony Czar. ... will continue his family's legacy of Division I swimming excellence following his sister, Sarah (captain of the swim team at Villanova University) and brother, Paul (captain of the swim team). ... will be majoring in mathematical sciences and has been accepted into the prestigious Albert Dorman Honors College.

Why did you choose NJIT as your university?
NJIT is a prestigious academic school with a growing swimming and diving program. I knew that NJIT would help me realize my long term academic goals and short term athletic goals.
 
When you were choosing between college swimming programs, what was unique about the NJIT Men's Swimming & Diving program?
There is a family atmosphere both in and out of the pool that is unique to this team.
 
Why did you choose to be part of the NJIT Men's Swimming & Diving program?
I chose NJIT Swimming & Diving to become a part of the Highlander family. I wanted to be part of a growing program with ambitious goals for the future.
