2021: Named to the Second-Team All-Conference and earned a spot on the All-Academic Team. ...Watkins, from Capetown, South Africa, ranks tied for second in the NCAA among active players in career goals (40) and third in points (101). ...The 2021 Spring America East Striker of the Year has combined for five goals, six assists for 16 points this season.  His 19 career goals at NJIT ranks third, 13 assists ranks third and 51 points ranks third in the NJIT DI era  ...A four-time Dean's List as an undergrad, Watkins graduated in May 21' Magna Cum Laude BS Business w/ concentration in Marketing (3.76 GPA) and enrolled in the first semester in grad school (Management).  

Spring 2021: USC Scholar All-Region team. ..Watkins, the Highlander senior from Capetown, South Africa, led the America East Conference in total goals (7) and points (17). The 5-foot-9 striker became the second Highlander to score a hat trick in the Division I era, joining teammate Rene White.  Watkins scored the hat trick after powering NJIT to a 3-2 men's soccer America East Conference win at Stony Brook. Watkins was selected America East Conference Player of the Week and College Soccer News National Team of the week on April 6 for his three-goal performance at Stony Brook. His seven goals and 17 points this season ranks tied for fourth in the Division I era. For his career, Watkins is the NCAA Division I active career leader in points (83) and ranks second in goals (35).  Prior to joining the Highlanders in 2019, Watkins played two seasons (2017 & 2018) at Division II Bloomfield College, compiling 22 goals, six assists and 50 points.  The two seasons with the Highlanders, Watkins has registered 13 goals, seven assists and 33 points. Watkins, named to the Dean's List for three semesters as a business major and holds a 3.72 GPA. .. named NJIT's Co-Male Athlete of the Year, Men's Soccer Outstanding Performer and Highlander Academic Award recipient. 

2019: ASUN Tournament MVP. ... scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute, leading the top-seeded Highlanders to its first-ever ASUN Conference Tournament title with a 2-1 victory over No. 2 FGCU.  ...scored a pair of game-winners in the ASUN Tournament, also scoring the game-winner in the Highlanders 3-2 quarterfinal victory over Stetson.  He scored the go-ahead goal against FGCU in the 86th minute assisted by Andrew Nino, giving the Highlanders a 2-1 lead.  ...Watkins scored in the last three of four matches for the Highlanders, including a pair of goals in the 5-0 win over Jacksonville.

Prior to NJIT: Watkins joins the Highlander squad after playing two seasons at Division II Bloomfield College. ...The 5-foot-9 forward was selected 2017 D2CCA All-East Region second-team, CACC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Year and All-CACC first-team, leading the Bears with 13 goals, five assists for 31 points.  ...During his sophomore campaign, Watkins tallied a team-best nine goals, including one assist for a team-high 19 points.
