Evan Marques joined the NJIT men’s soccer staff as a volunteer coach in July 2019, having most recently served one season as the Assistant Coach at Division-II Caldwell
University.
A graduate from Caldwell with a degree in Business Administration and concentration in Small Business & Entrepreneurship, Marques was a four-year starter for the Cougars
from 2012-2015.
Marques, Founder/Operator of Triformance Sports Training, entered college coaching in 2016 as Assistant Coach at College of St. Elizabeth and a year later served as Assistant Coach at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Marques helped guide St. Joseph of Metuchen in capturing a high school county championship and advancing to the state finals twice.
He played club soccer for the Ironbound SC Predators, winning two Super Y League National titles and US Club Soccer National Championship.
Evan currently holds an NCEI speed and agility certification and is a USSF coaching license.
