Albert Siuta, a former runner for NJIT, joins the Highlanders coaching staff in 2008-09 as a volunteer assistant coach with the cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field teams.

Siuta, who also ran at Roselle (NJ) Catholic High School, remains an active runner at the Masters level, competing in middle distance and long distance races.

He has 10 years experience coaching at the youth level (11-14 years old) and coached four teams to their age group national championships. He coached teams that won their state age group championships in AAU competition and numerous individual runners went on to win championships as high as the state level.

Siuta has worked since 1999 with the x-TREME RUNNING CAMP as a distance running counselor, speaker and coordinator of residential services. He also has extensive experience in race management with road races and track and field.
