One of the top players in school history, McCain is in his first season as a student assistant coach as he completes his degree requirements in architecture.

A graduate of Piscataway (NJ) High School, Derrick was a 4-year starter, playing a school-record 157 games, a record-tying 126 runs scored, 531 at-bats (2nd) and 147 hits (3rd), 66 stolen bases, 16 home runs and 97 RBI.
