Getting to know Blake Rader ...

Why did you choose NJIT?

NJIT was unique in its ability to offer the education of an elite private college, at the price of a state university.

When you were choosing between college swimming programs, what was unique about the NJIT Men's Swimming & Diving program?
The swim team at NJIT has a very close-knit atmosphere to it, the team really works well together and everyone gets along. It felt very similar to my small high school team.

Why did you choose to be part of the NJIT Men's Swimming & Diving program?
I have been swimming for six years, and was excited to find that one of my top colleges had a growing Division I program. I look forward to developing my skills with the whole team.
