2013-14: Recipient of the 2014 Otto H. York Department of Chemical, Biological & Pharmaceutical Engineering Outstanding Senior Award, has a cumulative 3.99 GPA over his four-year academic career at NJIT and is enrolled in NJIT's Albert Dorman Honors College. He received and participated in the Merck Engineering and Technology Fellowship for two summers and has accepted a job post-graduation as a chemical engineer. ...the senior captain placed 15th in the 200 yard butterfly at the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Championships. ... President and previous Vice President of NJIT Omega Chi Epsilon National Chemical Engineering Honor Society, previously held the position as NJIT Senate Officer - Chemical Engineering Representative in 2012 and 2013.

Why did you choose NJIT as your university?
I decided to attend NJIT due to the engineering program being well regarded among professionals. My acceptance into the Albert Dorman's Honor College with a scholarship offer as well pushed me to attend NJIT.
 
Why did you choose to be part of the NJIT Men's Swimming & Diving program?
Upon deciding to attend NJIT, I discovered the school had a D1 swimming program which was in need of butterfly swimmers. I joined the team to continue my swimming career and to be part of a rigorous extracurricular activity.
