NEWARK, NJ – The 2026 season is underway this weekend for the NJIT women's volleyball team as they travel to South Orange, N.J. to take part in the Seton Hall Invitational, hosted by Seton Hall University. The Highlanders will face FDU on Friday, take on Illinois State on Saturday, and then close out the weekend with a match against Seton Hall on Sunday.

NJIT will look to defend home court with eleven matches taking place inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center. The Highlanders home opener is on Wednesday, September 2
nd, where they will host Manhattan and the NJIT Invitational kicks off on Thursday, September 17th against Seton Hall. NJIT will welcome all five America East opponents to Newark and Senior Day will be on Friday, November 13
th at 5:00 p.m. as the Highlanders take on UMBC in the final home game of the season.
