Men’s and Women’s Fencing Compete at LIU Invitational

BROOKLYN, NY – The NJIT men's and women's fencing teams faced off against LIU and NYU Sunday at the LIU Invitational.

Three Highlanders posted 5-1 combined records on the day: Julian Detering (foil), Fabio Mastromarino (epee) and Adrian Figueredo (saber). On the women's side, Stella Frias matched the 5-1 mark in foil competition.

The NJIT women return to action February 28 at the NIWFA Championships, hosted by Drew in Madison, NJ. The men compete March 1 at the MACFA Championships, also hosted by Drew in Madison, NJ.
