NEWARK, NJ – The 2025 season is underway this weekend for the NJIT women's volleyball team as they travel to New Rochelle, N.Y. to take part in the Iona Invitational, hosted by Iona University. The Highlanders will face Boston College on Friday and take on Iona and Stonehill on Saturday.
Weekend Schedule
Friday vs. Boston College – 12 p.m.
Saturday at Iona – 10 a.m.

Pedro Trevino enters his seventh season at the helm of the NJIT women's volleyball program.
Who's Back?
All three incoming seniors for NJIT are returning to the court for their final season as a Highlander.
Mariana Cova,
Taylor West and
Doga Emil all return with veteran experience for Coach Trevino with all three seniors playing in over 70 sets each last season.
Who's New?
NJIT will be welcoming five freshmen to the team ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Giselle Parker and
Madison MacKaig will suit up for the first time as Highlanders this upcoming weekend.

NJIT will look to defend home court with nine matches taking place inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center. The Highlanders home opener is on Tuesday, September 2
nd, where they will host Saint Peter's as well as all five America East opponents will travel to Newark. Senior Day will be on Sunday, November 9
th at 1:00 p.m. as the Highlanders take on UAlbany in the final home game of the season.
