Six Highlanders Named to the 2025 EIVA All-Conference Teams

2025 EIVA All-Academic Team

​NEWARK, NJ–
Six Highlanders were selected to the 2025 EIVA All-Conference teams while eight Highlanders were named to the EIVA All-Academic team the organization announced on Tuesday.

Alessandro Negri and Andrew Fedmasu were named to the EIVA first team, Antonio Feliciano and Braeden Goebbert were selected to the EIVA second team and Bruno Figueiredo and Diego Lopez were named to the EIVA Honorable Mention.

Alessandro Negri - First Team
Negri, a four-time EIVA All-Conference selection, was named to the first-team for the second time throughout his career.  As a freshman, Negri earned first team honors and as a sophomore and junior, he was named to the second-team.

A two-time EIVA Offensive Player of the Week selection, Negri ranked seventh in the EIVA in kills (3.09) and ninth in points (3.63).

This season, he combined for double-digit kills in 15 matches, including the last seven matches with 10 or more kills.  He tied his career-best at Charleston (WV) on April 5, posting 26 kills.

On March 8, Negri joined the 1,000 career kill club against Ohio State.  Negri has combined for 1,148 career kills, 483 digs, 150 total blocks, 1,319 points and 91 service aces. 
 

Andrew Fedmasu  - First Team
Fedmasu, a two-time EIVA All-Conference selection, was named to the first team.  Last season, Fedmasu earned second team honors.

This season, Fedmasu ranked third in the conference in total blocks (0.99) and registered a career-best 11 blocks at Sacred Heart.

Fedmasu combined for 10 kills against Princeton and Penn State this season.
 

Antonio Feliciano - Second Team
Feliciano has been selected to the EIVA Conference second team after averaging 2.48kps and 1.35dps for the Highlanders.

This season, Feliciano posted nine matches with double-digit kills with a season-best 15 kills at LIU.

Braeden Goebbert - Second Team
Goebbert has been selected to the EIVA Conference second team.

A one-time EIVA Defensive Player of the Week, Goebbert ranked fifth in the conference in blocks (0.96).

He combined for a career-best eight blocks at Charleston (WV).
 

Bruno Figueiredo - Honorable Mention
Figueiredo, an EIVA honorable mention selection in his first season at NJIT ranked fourth in the conference in assists (9.19).

He combined for double-digit assists in all 24 matches played this season with a career-best 50 assists (Queens (NC) and George Mason).

Figueiredo has combined for 744 assists heading into the EIVA Conference Tournament. 
 

Diego Lopez - Honorable Mention
Lopez, an EIVA honorable mention selection, ranked seventh in the conference in digs per set (1.66).

He combined for a career-best 12 digs against George Mason and posted three matches with double-digit digs.

Next Up
The 2025 EIVA Conference Tournament will be hosted by No. 1 Princeton from April 23-26 in Princeton, NJ inside Dillon Gymnasium.  All matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The No. 2 NJIT Highlanders (14-12, 8-4 EIVA) will play the second match of the day on April 24.  NJIT will play the winner of No. 3 Penn State/No. 6 Harvard.  

Top-seeded Princeton will be the first match of the day on April 24 at 5pm and will play the winner of No. 4 George Mason/No. 5 Charleston (WV).
