NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT men's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Princeton Friday evening in EIVA Conference action inside Dillon Gymnasium.
NJIT, which moved back into the 2025 AVCA Coaches poll Monday at No. 19 after splitting a home series with then-ranked No. 19 Penn State, moved to 7-5 overall, 2-3 in the EIVA. Princeton improved to 6-5 overall, 3-1 in the EIVA.
Leading the way for the Highlanders was middle Braeden Goebbert and opposite Wiktor Nowak with nine kills. Senior Antonio Feliciano registered six kills and five digs while Alessandro Negri and Andrew Fedmasu each added five kills.
Freshman Bruno Figueiredo recorded 27 assists and four digs. Negri posted a team-best six digs and in front of the net Fedmasu notched five block assists.
NJIT will have a quick turnaround and welcome No. 18 Lincoln Memorial on Sunday at 1pm inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.
