NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT women's basketball team will conclude the #AEHoops regular season on the road, visiting Vermont and UAlbany.
Game Information
NJIT will visit Vermont on Thursday, February 27 at 6pm before wrapping up the 2025 regular season at UAlbany on March 1 at 7pm. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+ with in-game statistics available on NJITHighlanders.com.

Heading into the final week of the regular season, NJIT will play the top two seeds on the road (at Vermont and at UAlbany). NJIT sits tied for third with Maine (8-6 league record).

Senior Day was a victorious one for the NJIT seniors as the Highlanders had six players reach double-figures to lead a balanced scoring in Saturday's #AEHoops home win over UMBC, 83-65, inside the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.
NJIT, which shot 53.1 percent from the field for the game, improved to 11-16 overall, 8-6 in the America East while UMBC moved to 14-12 overall, 7-7 in the league. The Highlanders who sit tied for third with Maine have won the last four out of five games. The eight wins in the America East are the second most wins since joining the league in July 2020 (9 wins in 2021-22).
Leading the balanced attack was senior Trinity Williams who scored 15 points on 7-of-13 from the field followed by Alejandra Zuniga (14), Marissa Gingrich (13), Olivia Kulyk (12), Enya Maguire (10) and Madilyn Dogs (10).
1,000 Career Points and Counting
Rising junior Alejandra Zuniga became the 13th Highlander to score 1,000 career points after a tough driving right-handed layup with 2:38 left in the game against Monmouth on December 9, 2024. Zuniga, who cracked the top-10 all-time stands at 1,255 points, which ranks sixth all-time in program history.
Olivia Kulyk Ties America East Record with 10th Rookie of the Week Honor
Olivia Kulyk has been selected America East Conference Rookie of the Week for the 10th time this season and for the fifth consecutive week the league office announced Monday.
Kulyk has been selected America East Rookie of the Week for the 10th time, tying Erica Beverly from Hartford for most America East Rookie of the Week honors during the 2005-06 season.
The Highlanders, 6-foot-1 guard from Edinboro, PA, ranks second in three-point field goals made (2.0), 11th in the America East in scoring (10.1) and 13th in rebounding (5.0).
Next Up
The top eight teams will qualify for the 2025 #AEPlayoffs with all games at the higher seed. The dates are: Quarterfinals: March 6; Semifinals: March 10; Final: March 14.
