NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT men's soccer team will host UMass Lowell on Saturday, October 18 on 2025 Homecoming Weekend at NJIT.

Game Information
Saturday's match is slated for 3pm. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ with in-game statistics available on NJITHighlanders.com.

NJIT leads the all-time series, 3-1-2, which dates back to 2013.  Last season the two teams finished with a 1-1 draw.

Last Time Out
Sophomore transfer Junee Lee headed home his first goal of the season in the Highlanders 1-1 draw at Drexel Tuesday evening at Vidas Field in the final non-conference match of the season.

NJIT got on the board first in the 17th minute on a left-footed cross by Patrick Kierzkowski to Junee Lee header into the left corner of the goal to give the Highlanders a 1-0 lead.

Devin Armstrong - NCAA Rankings
Senior Devin Armstrong combined for a personal-best 12 saves against No. 24 Cornell.  The 12 saves are the most by a Highlander goalkeeper since Collin Cunning combined for 13 saves at Maryland on October 26, 2005.  His 12 saves in a single-game ranks tied for second in the NCAA (as of 9/25/25).

Scouting the Highlanders
–NJIT enters Saturday's contest with a 3-6-4. overall mark, 1-1-1 in the America East.
–The non-conference slate wrapped up on Tuesday evening with a 1-1 draw at Drexel.
–The Highlanders moved back into the win column after a 1-0 America East Conference road victory at Binghamton.
–NJIT is now .500 in league action (1-1-1) with three matches remaining on the schedule.
–The Highlanders have six players – Henrique Sardinha, Sergio Martinez Cubel, Cristian LoGrasso, Caio Carrara, Junee Lee and Jake Rubis with one goal each.
–Martinez Cubel leads the team with three assists and five points.
–Armstrong leads the America East in total saves (53) while ranking second in shutouts (5) and saves per game (4.08)

Scouting the RiverHawks
–UMass Lowell enters Saturday's match with a 6-4-2 overall mark, 1-1-1 in the America East.
–The RiverHawks are undefeated in their last three out of four matches.
–The most recent result was a 0-0 draw against then-ranked No. 2 Vermont on October 11.
–The lone win in league action is over Binghamton.
–UMass Lowell has two players that have scored a pair of goals this season – Justin Pham and Linus Musielak.
–Goalkeeper Jorge Ortega held then-ranked No. 2 Vermont to a 0-0 draw on October 11.  He has combined for two shutouts on the season (Binghamton/Vermont).
