NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT men's and women's fencing teams opened its 2025 campaign at the Tiger Invitational on Tuesday hosted by Princeton in the Stan Sieja Fencing Room.

NJIT Men Scores
Princeton 18, NJIT 9
Columbia 20, NJIT 7

Leading the way for the NJIT men was Niels Roubailo and Ryan Scharf, who each combined for a 4-2 mark in the men's epee competition.

Princeton 20, NJIT 7
Columbia 25, NJIT 2
Cornell 20, NJIT 7

On the women's side, Stella Frias combined for a 4-3 mark in the women's foil competition while Gala Krsmanovic tallied three wins on the epee strip for the Highlanders.

Next Up
The two teams will be back in action this weekend, competing at the Philadelphia Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.  Both meets will begin at 8am.
