PRINCETON, NJ–No. 17 Princeton swept visiting NJIT, 3-0, in EIVA Conference men's volleyball action Friday night inside Dillon Gymnasium.

The Tigers sweep the regular season series from the Highlanders and improve to 11-10 overall, 4-4 in the EIVA while the Highlanders move to 9-14 overall, 1-7 in the EIVA.

Princeton, which hit an impressive .355 for the match, swept the Highlanders 25-18, 25-21 and 25-21.

The Tigers were led by Ben Harrington and Jameson Vaccaro with 12 kills each while Henry Wedbush combined for 34 assists, six total blocks and five digs.  

Princeton led the service ace category, 9-4, paced by four aces from Harrington.

NJIT was paced by Antonio Feliciano's seven kills followed by Carson Williams with five.  Setter Griffin Fieseler combined for 22 assists and five digs for the Highlanders.  

Andrew Fedmasu recorded an .800 hitting percentage with four kills on five attempts and no errors to go along with two block assists.

Both teams traded points early in the set until 9-9 when Princeton scored three straight to take a 12-9 lead and extended its advantage to six, 16-10, resulting in a Highlander timeout.  NJIT used a late 3-1 spurt to close the Tiger gap to within three, 20-17, resulting in a Princeton timeout.  The Tigers would score the final five out of six points to register a 25-18 victory to go ahead, 1-0.

Neither team led by more than three points in the second frame until the early teens when Princeton went on a 7-2 spurt, taking a 21-15 lead.  NJIT cut the Princeton deficit to two, 22-20, but the Tigers closed out the frame on a 3-1 run to push ahead, 2-0, with a 25-21 victory.

NJIT took control of the third frame from the start, jumping out to a 6-2 advantage, resulting in an early Princeton timeout.  The Tigers rallied back, slimming the Highlander lead to within one, 13-12, and tied the set at 13-all with an ace by Ben Harrington.  Princeton went ahead by four, 24-20 behind a 4-1 run for the Tigers and secured the 3-0 sweep with a 25-21 victory.

NJIT will conclude its EIVA Conference regular season on the road at Harvard on April 12 (7pm) and April 13 (5pm).  Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.
