NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT women's basketball team has reached the America East Conference Tournament for the fourth consecutive season as the No. 7 Highlanders (12-17, 4-10 AE) take on No. 2 UAlbany Great Danes (24-5, 13-3 AE) Friday, March 8.

Game Information
The game will be played at Broadview Arena on the campus of UAlbany with tip off slated for 7pm on ESPN+.  In-game statistics will be available on UAlbanySports.com.

All-Time Series
UAlbany owns a 9-1 all-time record over NJIT; UAlbany swept the regular season series.  The game played in Newark vs. UAlbany was a two-point loss for the Highlanders, 38-36, with a chance for NJIT to win down the stretch.

–Alejandra Zuniga -- America East 2nd team All-Conference selection this season, America East Rookie of the Year and All-Conference third team a year ago, led the Highlanders in scoring for the second straight season, ranks fifth in the league in scoring at 15.0ppg.
– Leadership from the veterans:  Kenna Squier, Grad Student (2nd all-time in NJIT DI era in scoring with 1,410 points), Trinity Williams, Junior (leads the America East in blocks (47 total blocks); 9.3ppg, 6.3rpg) and Aria Myers, Senior (4.9ppg, 3.1rpg)
