All-Time Series
NJIT leads the all-time series, 1-0. Last season was the first time NJIT and Saint Francis U met in Newark. NJIT picked up a 68-41 victory.
News & Notes
–Two of the top three scorers return from a year ago – Alejandra Zuniga (14.7 ppg) and Trinity Williams (9.0 ppg).
–Rising junior Zuniga will enter her junior campaign with 798 career points, 133 assists, 76 three-point field goals and 68 steals. In 2022-23, she was selected as the America East Rookie of the Year, named to the America East Third Team and All-Rookie team.
–Forward Trinity Williams has played in 80 career games with 55 games starting, as she enters her senior season. She averated 9.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg.
–Head Coach Mike Lane enters his seventh season at the helm of the Highlanders.

America East Conference
NJIT will begin its fifth season in the America East and will play a schedule of 16 conference games against the other eight schools. The Highlanders became the 10th full member of the America East on July 1, 2020 and were selected to finish eighth in the 2024-25 preseason coaches poll.
The Highlanders, which made its fourth consecutive appearance in the 2024 America East postseason tournament, concluded its season with a 12-18 overall mark and 4-12 in the America East.
Fans will once again be able to watch every #AEHoops home game on The AE on ESPN with all games airing on ESPN+ or ESPN3 domestically and AmericaEast.TV interrnationally.
Scouting Saint Francis U
Saint Francis University women's basketball was selected to finish fifth out of nine programs in the 2024-25 Northeast Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Poll.
The Red Flash are set to return 10 of 13 players from last year's roster and this year's team also features four newcomers consisting of four freshmen and one transfer. Seven of the nine players with at least one start last season return, led by Julianna Gibson who started all-30 games.
Yanessa Boyd is set to be the top returning scorer after her 7.1 points per game last season.
Point guard Kameryn Dorsey finished fourth in the NEC last season with 3.4 assists per game. The mark finished 14th among Division I freshmen.
