Women’s Basketball Signs Trio to 2025-26 Signing Class

11/27/2024 10:00:00 AM

NEWARK, NJ–NJIT women's basketball head coach Mike Lane announced the signing of a trio of Highlanders – Addison Shen, Mia Gestosani and Lauren Lee who will join the Highlanders for the 2025-26 season.

"I am so excited for this class to join Highlanders Women's Basketball," said Lane, who is in his seventh season at the helm of the Highlanders. "This trio is tough! All three are excellent students who sought the academic challenge of NJIT, and of course they are coming to Newark to make our basketball program better.  Mia is a pure point guard who knows how to run a team and can create her own offense; Addie is a great student of the game who can score at all three levels and Lauren is that versatile player who can impact the game in a number of ways. Our staff and our team are so happy to welcome them to our fun family and wish them all good luck on their senior seasons!"
