Women's Tennis Wraps Up Fall At Drexel Invitational

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The fall season for the NJIT women's tennis team concluded over the weekend after the Highlanders took part in the two-day Drexel Dragon Invitational

The Highlanders performed exceptionally well in two days of matches against Hofstra on Saturday and the host Dragons on Sunday.

"The Drexel invite was a great way to conclude fall play for us and the team performed well," head coach Patricia Piorkowski McDonald said after the event. "Irene and Shivani worked extremely well together to defeat a very strong court 1 doubles team from Drexel on the final day. The team worked hard all fall season long and we are looking forward to competing again in the spring."
