NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT men's soccer team will wrap up its three-match road trip on Saturday when the Highlanders visit No. 19 New Hampshire.

Win Over Top 15 Team
NJIT upset then-ranked No. 15 Vermont on October 7, 1-0, for the program's first win over a United Soccer Coaches top-25 team since 2015.
America East Conference & Standings (as of 10/18/23)
NJIT currently sits in a tie for second place in the America East standings with seven points, trailing first place Vermont by two points.
Each America East squad has three games remaining with NJIT's coming against New Hampshire (six points; fourth place), UMBC (seven points; tied second place) and UAlbany (four points; seventh place).
The top six of eight America East teams will qualify for the 2023 America East Championship.

Tied for Eighth in the Nation in Assists
Sophomore Maximus Barboto, the 2022 America East Conference Rookie of the Year, sits tied for eighth in the nation in assists with 8.
The eight assists in a single season ties the NJIT Division I record and his 12 career assists ranks fifth all-time in the NJIT Division I era.
Scouting the Wildcats
–New Hampshire, ranked No. 19 in the latest United Soccer Coaches National Poll, enters Saturday's contest on a two-match win streak, standing at 8-1-4 overall, 1-0-3 in the America East.
–The Wildcats are undefeated in their last nine matches (6-0-3), including most recently a 2-1 win over No. 18 Hofstra on October 17.
–Graduate student Bilal Kamal leads the team with 13 points on four goals and five assists. Grad student Eli Goldman is first on the team with six goals.
–Wildcat goalkeeper Joseba Incera has combined for 23 saves in 10 matches, registering a 6-1-3 overall record with three shutouts.
Next Up
NJIT will conclude the home portion of its schedule on Friday, October 27 at 7pm, welcoming UMBC on Senior Day. In pregame ceremonies, NJIT will honor graduate student Samuel Reisgys, Jordi Navio Sanchez, Kendell Thomas, Matthew Heffernan, Ramchwy St. Vil, Caden Pellito and David Santiago.
