BROOKLYN, NY–Visiting NJIT swept St. Francis Brooklyn, 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-13), in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon in EIVA Conference men's volleyball action.

NJIT, winners of two in a row, improved to 15-10 overall and 10-6 in the EIVA.  The Highlanders will be the No. 3 seed in the 2022 EIVA Conference Postseason Tournament and will face No. 6 George Mason on Wednesday, April 20 at 4:30pm.  Penn State will be the host site for the tournament.

Junior Julian Meissner and freshman Alessandro Negri led the match with 10 kills apiece followed by Carson Williams with six.  Meissner combined for a .667 hitting percentage and Williams recorded a 1.000 hitting percentage.

Senior setter Roque Nido led all players with 22 assists while Meissner and Negri shared match-high honors with five digs.

NJIT held a 9-for-2 advantage in the service ace category paced by Nido, Antonio Feliciano, Meissner and Negri each registering a pair of aces in the match.

Meissner notched three block solos for NJIT in the win.
