Men's Swimming and Diving Closes Bucknell Invite In Fifth Place

LEWISBURG, PA — The NJIT men's swimming and diving team completed the three-day Bucknell Invitational on Sunday evening by recording several new school records and finishing the meet in fifth place overall with 722.5 total points.

NEW SCHOOL RECORDS
  • Keegan Wooding added his name to the record book twice in the same race, replacing Richard Seffrin's 2013 time in the 1650 Free (16:09.27) with a mark of 16:05.67 and edging out teammate Jake Nelms' 2019 record in the 1000 Free (9:42.82) with his 1000 split (9:42.10).
  • Tanish Chhabra gave the Highlanders their third record of the day and fifth of the weekend with a 100 Free time of 44.80, bettering Kai Legband's 2018 time of 45.05.
