NEW YORK–The NJIT men's and women's fencing teams competed at the Columbia Invitational Friday afternoon.

The NJIT men faced Johns Hopkins and host Columbia, falling by identical scores, 21-6.

On the women's side, NJIT went 1-1 at the Invitational, dropping a 22-5 decision to host Columbia and edged Johns Hopkins, 14-13.
