NEW ORLEANS --- The NJIT women's cross country team was honored as one of 168 programs to be named All-Academic Teams by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their efforts during the 2021 season.

The Highlanders produced a collective team grade point average of 3.34 and have earned USTFCCCA honors every year since the 2009 season. 

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
