Men's Swimming and Diving Opens Season With Defeat At La Salle

PHILADELPHIA --- The NJIT men's swimming and diving team kicked off its 2021 season on Saturday afternoon, falling to the La Salle Explorers 129-76.

The lone victory the Highlanders were able to pick up came from junior Joshua Franco, who paced the field in the 200 Free with a time of 1:42.83. Franco was also less than a second away from taking the 100 Free, finishing in second with a time of 47.12.

OTHER TOP THREE FINISHES NEXT UP
NJIT is scheduled to compete in its first-ever America East dual meet against Binghamton on Sunday, March 21.
