New Hampshire, the sixth-ranked team in the nation, scored three goals in the second half as the Wildcats recorded a 3-0 shutout victory over visiting NJIT in America East Conference men's soccer action Friday evening at Wildcat Stadium.

NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Career Active List
NJIT graduate students Rene White and Regsan Watkins are ranked the top four in goals and top three in points among NCAA Division I active career men's soccer leaders as of October 4.

White, from Bloomfield, NJ, ranks first in the NCAA in career goals (45) and second in points (98) while teammate Watkins, from Capetown, South Africa sits tied for second in goals (38) and fourth in points (91).

A 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-America first-team honoree, White ranks third all-time in the record books in goals and fourth in points while holding the NJIT Division I record for total goals.

Watkins, the 2021 America East Conference Striker of the Year, ranks fourth all-time at NJIT in goals and fifth in points.  The Highlander forward played two seasons at Bloomfield College prior to attending NJIT, tallying 22 goals.

2021-22 Senior CLASS Award candidates
NJIT fifth-year seniors Rene White and Regsan Watkins join a list of 60 NCAA men's and women's student-athletes selected as the 2021-22 Senior CLASS Award candidates.  To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character, and competition.

2021 National Rankings
NJIT's White ranks tied for seventh in the nation in total goals with seven.  His 16 total points ranks tied for 11th.

Scouting the Opponent
Loyola (MD) enters Tuesday's match with a 4-3-2 overall record, including two consecutive 3-0 victories against Boston University and William & Mary.

The Greyhounds, winners of the last three out of four matches, are led by Kelan Swales (4G, 2A) and Justin Ingram (3G, 5A).  Ingram was voted in August to repeat as the Patriot League Midfielder of the Year. He is one of seven Greyhounds to return as a graduate student, taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to COVID-19.

For a fourth time in the past five seasons, Loyola has been projected to finish atop the Patriot League standings, as the Greyhounds (149 points, 10 first-place votes) edged American (137, 7) for the top spot in the conference's preseason poll.

Loyola returns all primary starters from the 2021 spring campaign, including the Patriot League's Offensive Player (Sam Brown), Midfielder (Justin Ingram) and Goalkeeper (Chase Vosvick) of the Year.

Vosvick is a three-time United Soccer Coaches first team All-Region selection (2017-19) and a three-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year (2017-18, Spring 2021). He was also named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List prior to the 2021 spring season.

Vosvick was one of 30 Division I men's soccer student-athletes across the country revealed as a candidate for the 2021 Senior CLASS Award.
