PRINCETON, NJ - The NJIT men's tennis team was defeated 7-0 by Princeton on Sunday at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Princeton, which came into the matched ranked #18 nationally, improved to 14-4 on the season, while NJIT is now 1-8.
"We played some great tennis against a highly ranked Princeton team," said Head Coach
Ira Miller. "Particularly at the top, Tin and Josh played some very strong tennis at 1 and 2 respectively."
The Tigers took two doubles matches to clinch the first point of the match, before sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets en route to the 7-0 victory.
NJIT returns to the court on Friday when it hosts Sacred Heart at 4pm in the Naimoli Tennis Center in Newark.
