NEWARK, NJ—The NJIT men's soccer team will be back in action on Tuesday at 7pm when the Highlanders visit La Salle in a non-conference match-up at McCarthy Stadium.

After finding the event, click the camera icon to the left of the event listing. That brings you to an ESPN+ portal where you can access the desired program.
All-Time Series
La Salle leads the series, 1-0. The two teams met last season, with the Explorers coming out on top, 2-1, in a come-from-behind thriller in overtime.
NJIT Notes
NJIT (3-3-3) snapped a three-match skid with a 3-0 shutout victory over Liberty in ASUN Conference action to earn three points on Saturday.
Junior
Thomas Radon finished the match with two goals (11', 89') and four points in the Highlanders win while goalkeeper
Samuel Reisgys collected five saves, recording his second shutout of the season. Junior transfer
Gerald Cubero scored the second Highlander goal in the 59th minute.
As a team, NJIT has the most goals (18), assists (16) and the best shot percentage (.154) in the ASUN.
Redshirt junior
Rene White leads the ASUN in goals (7) and points (15) and is nationally ranked in the top 20 in those categories, respectively.
ASUN Player of the Week
Radon was selected ASUN Conference Player of the Week the league office announced on Monday.
Radon picks up his first Career ASUN Player of the Week honor and just the third player in NJIT program history to earn this award.
After scoring a pair of goals in the Highlanders 3-0 win over Liberty, Radon ranks second in the ASUN in goals (4) and points (9), behind teammate
Rene White, who tops the league in goals (7) and points (15).
Scouting La Salle
La Salle enters Tuesday's match with a 5-4 overall mark and winners of the last two. The Explorers are coming off a 2-1 overtime victory at home against Duquesne.
Sophomore Omari Cotterell fired home the game-winning goal in the 97th minute to give the La Salle University men's soccer team a thrilling 2-1, overtime win over Duquesne in Atlantic 10 action.
Cotterell and freshman goalkeeper Carlos Mora each received multiple weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference and the Philadelphia Soccer Six on Monday following La Salle's 2-0 week.
Cotterell was named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week as well as Soccer Six Player of the Week. Mora collected Soccer Six Defensive Player of the Week along with A-10 Rookie of the Week accolades.
La Salle in a stretch of a three-game homestead, is 4-1 on the season at McCarthy Stadium.
Nigel Buckley tops the in goals (3) and points (7) while Ike Hollinger and Sam DeCencio have collected a pair of assists on the season.
Next Up
NJIT will return home and host two straight matches on Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium. The Highlanders will welcome non-conference opponent VMI on Saturday, October 5 at 3pm.
Saturday will mark Homecoming Weekend for NJIT.
