NEWARK, N.J. --- The NJIT men's tennis team ended its 2019 season on Saturday afternoon, losing to the Liberty Flames, 7-0.

Prior to today's match, the Highlanders honored the team's four seniors playing in their final collegiate contest - Lukas Zvikas, Zac Castagna, Pablo Arrutia, and Javier Allende.

On senior day, our seniors led the way. Lukas played great at first doubles to help us notch the win. Both Zac and Pablo went three close sets in their singles matches.They have done so much for the team and will be missed," head coach Ira Miller said after the match.

Zvikas, along with Abdullah Fouad, picked up a victory at No. 1 doubles and Castagna and Arrutia pushed their matches to three sets but the Highlanders were unable to capture a point off of the upcoming ASUN Tournament's second seed.
