UNF leads all-time 5-3.  In the first meeting of the season, UNF defeated NJIT in Newark 78-59 on Feb. 16, 2019.

ASUN Conference Tournament
NJIT will be the No.8 seed in the 2019 ASUN Conference Postseason Tournament and visit No. 1 seed FGCU on Friday, March 8.  Tip-off will be slated for 7pm on ESPN+.

For UNF, with a win and a North Alabama win, the Ospreys would host a quarterfinal as the No. 4 seed. It would be the team's highest seed since the 2012 season when UNF earned a No. 4 spot as well.

UNF Notes
North Florida (13-13, 8-7 ASUN), winners of the last four-out-of-five games, is coming off a 75-62 victory against Stetson on February 27.
The eight Ospreys conference victories marks the most under Darrick Gibbs and is the highest total since 2012-13 (10).

Jazz Bond reached double-figures for the 17th time and Janesha Green recorded her first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Since becoming eligible to play in December after transferring in from USF, redshirt-sophomore Jazz Bond has been a force down low for UNF. Bond has scored in double-figures 17 of the 18 games she's played in, averaging 16.2 points per contest.
