BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The NJIT women's tennis team continued to improve on its stellar 2019 season after earning a 6-1 road victory over the Lehigh Mountain Hawks Saturday evening at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center's Ulrich Courts.

In the process, NJIT (9-1) secured its highest win total since joining the ASUN in 2015.

"Today was another good win in the road that all the players contributed to," head coach Zaki Abdelrahman said after the match. "Our energy and fighting spirit was on point throughout the match. "We still have some areas to develop but we'll take the positives and build on them tomorrow."

The victory was the fourth in ten matches in which NJIT has won at least six of seven points.

The Highlanders return to Newark tomorrow to face Towson. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
