NEWARK, NJ--Visiting Binghamton topped NJIT, 5-2, in men's tennis non-conference action at The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility on Friday afternoon.
Binghamton (7-5) picked up the doubles point and won four-out-of-six singles contests to secure the 5-2 win. NJIT, on a four-match skid, moves to 2-6 on the season.
The two NJIT winners on the day were
Abdullah Fouad at second singles, 7-6, 6-2 and
Zac Castagna at the third spot, with a straight set victory, 7-6, 6-2.
NJIT will return to action on Sunday against Princeton at 3pm in Princeton, NJ.
