NEWARK, NJ - The NJIT women's volleyball team was defeated in straight sets by Jacksonville in ASUN Conference play on Sunday, November 3, at the Wellness and Events Center.
The Dolphins won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-19, respectively, before winning the final set 25-18 to clinch the match and stay alive in the ASUN Tournament picture.
Leading the way for NJIT was
Susan Blake, who finished the match with nine kills and four blocks, while
Madi Busler chipped in with six kills.
Juliana Impaglia dished out a team-best 13 assists to go along with 11 digs, which also lead the squad.
The Highlanders return to action on Friday when they hit the road for a 6pm CT match against Lipscomb in Nashville.
