ASUN Playoff
With the win 2-1 road win at FGCU on Saturday, NJIT moved into the top of the ASUN standings with 12 points and controls its own destiny for the ASUN Conference regular season title heading into the final week of league play.
A win on Saturday, NJIT will capture its first-ever ASUN Conference Regular season title and first Division I championship for the NJIT men's soccer program, which began competing at the Division I level in 2004.
With a win or a draw between FGCU and Stetson, NJIT will clinch the Regular Season title.
United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region Poll
NJIT moved up two spots from a week ago to No. 7 in the Atlantic Region by the United Soccer Coaches in week nine (as of October 29).

Junior transfer
Gerald Cubero scored a pair of goals in NJIT's 2-1 road win at FGCU in ASUN Conference men's soccer action at the FGCU Soccer Complex Saturday evening.
Cubero, who raised his season total to five goals, recorded his first goal of the match in the second minute and scored the game-winner in the 84th minute to secure the 2-1 road win.
ASUN Conference Player of the Week | College Soccer News Player of the Week
Cubero picked up his first ASUN Player of the Week honor after scoring a pair of goals, leading the Highlanders to a 2-1 ASUN Conference victory at FGCU Saturday evening.
The 5-foot-8 forward, who played last season at nearby Essex County College in Newark and completed his freshman campaign at Rowan College at Burlington County, raised his season total to five goals, netting his first goal of the match in the second minute and the game-winner in the 84th minute to secure the 2-1 road win.
His five goals on the season ranks tied for third in the ASUN with teammate
Thomas Radon.
Cubero becomes the second Highlander this season to earn College Soccer News National Team of the Week (

Scouting the Highlanders
NJIT enters its final regular season match, sitting atop the ASUN Confernce standings with 12 points and a 7-4-4 overall mark, 4-1-0 in the ASUN.
The Highlanders have won the last four out of five matches, including its first-ever win over FGCU, a 2-1 road victory on October 26. In the last seven matches for NJIT, the Highlanders have scored 19 goals and are 5-1-1.
Redshirt junior
Rene White's 13 goals this season, ranks tied for sixth in the nation, tops the ASUN and ranks second in NJIT's single season record book. His 28 points ranks first in the ASUN and tied for 10th in the nation.

Samuel Reisgys tops the ASUN in save percentage (.757), ranks second in goals-against average (1.31) and sits in third in total saves (56).
Scouting the Dolphins
Jacksonville enters Saturday with a 5-6-2 overall mark and 0-4-1 ASUN record.
The Dolphins are coming off a 1-0 defeat at Liberty on October 26. Jacksonville recorded a season-best 19 shots against the Flames.
Jacksonville's Connar Lufkin paces the team with four goals, two assists and 10 points on the season.
Goalkeeper Matt Levy, who has started 12 matches for the Dolphins, ranks second in the ASUN in save percentage (.753) and fifth in goals against average (1.52).
